Welcome to the website of the East Caribbean Baptist Mission (ECBM). The ECBM is a missionary outreach agency founded by the Central Baptist Church of Antigua & Barbuda on August 14, 1991. The ECBM was incorporated in 1996 by an Act of Parliament in Antigua & Barbuda. Our vision is to reach the eastern Caribbean with the Gospel of the free and sovereign grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our focus to date has been on church planting, television and radio ministries, educational ministries, and conference ministries. This indigenous attempt at missions stands on the shoulders of many who have done, and are still doing, missions in the eastern Caribbean.
Most notable is the International Mission Board (IMB) of the Southern Baptist Convention in the USA. We are delighted about our historical relationship with the IMB and the rich heritage that has been handed down to us. We are particularly delighted to note the recent movement towards theological and ecclesiastical reform among Southern Baptist. We are totally committed to the Reformed Faith and the Doctrines of Grace as taught by our founders.
We hope that this website gives you an adequate introduction to our work. Please pray for us as we continue to declare the Gospel of God’s free and sovereign grace.
